Effluent treatment plant (ETP)
NRAIL group having full fledged Effluent Treatment Plant in their all 5 units which involves physical, chemical and biological treatment.
- Primary treatment to remove fiber and other suspended solids from the process;
- NRAIL having secondary biological aerobic treatment with Jet ejectors technology for oxygen transferring and mixing to remove soluble organic pollutants COD and BOD compliance for CETP.
- Tertiary treatment, i.e. Multi grade filters and activated carbon filters effluent polishing, to produce water of a quality suitable for recycling to mill processes and remove residual pollutants;
- Screw press, belt filter press and decanter for sludge handling and disposal.
